About Stretched Canvas

This is the latest canvas I did for a wedding. The canvas measures 24 by 30 inches. I also did the design for the canvas.

W e stretch the canvas by hand. The canvas is stretched around the sides and stapled in the back, which hides unsightly staples from view. A hanger is then attatched to the back, so that you can hang the canvas on the wall.

Canvas: Types of Stretching

Some friends ask me how many types of stretching we can do? There are mainly 3 types of stretching (see photo on the right). Standard Stretch : The image does not wrap around the stretcher bars. The white of the canvas is seen on the sides. Stretcher frame is 3/4" thick. Wrap Around Stretch : The image wraps around the stretcher bars. Stretcher frame is 3/4" thick. Gallery Wrap Stretch : The image wraps around the stretcher bars. Stretcher frame is 1 1/2" thick.

New! Customised printed 'JUST MARRIED' plates

Today, a customer feedback that the 'JUST MARRIED' wordings on my current designs are too big, such that the names of the wedding couple may become not clearly visible.
