2020 Covid-19 and Virtual Tours

It has been a long time. I have not updated this website for almost 6.5 years. This website was borned when I first started my photography services more than 10 years ago. For the last 6.5 years, I have been using my other websites to share my portfolio ( http://ahpengpeng.wix.com/wvideo, www.waipeng.com, and https://www.linkedin.com/in/wai-peng-chan/).

When I look back at the postings today, it brought back many fond memories of my clients who has been supporting me through the years. Thank you everyone, from the bottom of my heart. Without you, I would not be what I am today,  pursuing my dreams to be a photographer :) Now, I am also a videographer, and 360 virtual tour designer and photographer.

Today is the 2nd phase of Singapore's reopening. It is special as restaurants and cafes can now allow customers to dine-in, subject to a maximum of 5 persons per table. With Covid-19 safe-distancing measures, customers would now be more concerned about the restaurants and cafes they choose to go to. Customers would want to see the interior of the venue first before making a move there. Virtual tours can bridge this "knowledge gap". I did a virtual tour for Coffeesmith, a cafe in Westgate, Jurong East. Allow me to share the virtual tour with you.

I would think virtual tours serve as a marketing tool - the purpose is to bring potential clients closer to a business before the client visits the place physically. However, the business must first have a website for the virtual tour to work. This is because these virtual tours need to be "hosted" at some player for the "interactivity" to take place.

Virtual tours benefit all types of businesses that need to grow their company’s engagement with potential clients, build trust, improve their results online and achieve their goals offline. With a 360° tour, you can show your interior space, the ambience of your space to potential clients who are keen to visit your venue.

Do contact me if I can help you in creating virtual tours. I am a specialist in e-learning instructional design in training, I hope I can help you in creating virtual tours that help to inspire, educate, share your beautiful interior with many who would benefit from your service offerings too.
